Guest guest
Hi Moka, from what i know..luting cements are of difft types....egZn p04,poly carboxylate, GIC,RMGICand composite based.eg PANAVIADentine adhesive system is the mechanism by which these cements adhere to tooth surface...eg mechanical interlocking after etching, forming resin impregnated dentin layer etc...hope this helps you in some wayregardssajitha From: "Mokaamr@..." <mokaamr@...> Ore < > Sent: Monday, 26 March 2012 10:42 AM Subject: Dentine bonding What is difference between composite based luting cement,Dentine adhesive system? Guest guest
Thank you,in pink book I found that composite based luting cement is usually a part of Dentine adhesive system ,so do u they mean it is the resin which we use after etchant? On 26 Mar 2012, at 13:17, Sajithakumari Sivaprem <ssajithakumari@...> wrote: Hi Moka, from what i know..luting cements are of difft types....egZn p04,poly carboxylate, GIC,RMGICand composite based.eg PANAVIADentine adhesive system is the mechanism by which these cements adhere to tooth surface...eg mechanical interlocking after etching, forming resin impregnated dentin layer etc...hope this helps you in some wayregardssajitha From: "Mokaamr@..." <mokaamr@...> Ore < > Sent: Monday, 26 March 2012 10:42 AM Subject: Dentine bonding What is difference between composite based luting cement,Dentine adhesive system? Guest guest
hi, yeah....comp.based cement adheres to dentin...thats why it is included in that....for panavia...it has a self etching primerincorporated in it....so no need for separate acid etching and dentin bonding agent...
