Guest guest
It's isotonic when leaves the gland be4 any modification, then when it pass through the duct ( slow flow rate) the Na and Cl removed and become hypotonic, but Regarding comparison to plasma it's definitely hypo. Btw, in ( high flow rate) it is isotonic , bcz there isn't sufficient time to remove Na and ClIn few physiologic cases it can also be hypertonic!!Sent from my iPhoneOn 15 Apr 2012, at 00:35, mahejabin malik <drmahejabin@...> wrote: Isotonic -blue book From: dr_hibahaboubi@... <dr_hibahaboubi@...>; To: < >; Subject: Saliva Sent: Sat, Apr 14, 2012 8:26:32 PM How describe saliva in relation to plazam?hypo, iso, hypertonic?Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device------------------------------------
