Hi hibaIn scully 6th edition p.52 is written 300 mg = 7 cartridges lidocaine without adrenaline is the max.dose for an AVERAGE ADULT .(IT MEANS 70kg person not 125 kg ),and 500mg =11 cartridges lidoacaine with adrenaline is the max.dose for again an AVERAGE ADULT.But i do remember that Ebtissam said that the max.dose is regardless of the body weight, which means still 7 and 11 ,if she can provide a reference would be great ,because i couldn't find anything like it. hope it helpsAyham Sbahi From: "dr_hibahaboubi@..." <dr_hibahaboubi@...> Sent: Sunday, 8 April 2012, 13:45 Subject: Re: LA EQUATION

That's what i was talking about,in my opinion if the patient is up to 70kg the max.dose is fixed 7 cartridges and 11 with adrenaline, but if the patient is more than 70 kg you calculate it as we done it for the 125 kg patient(KG *4,4 mg)NOTE:this is regarding the max.dose Regard'sAyham Sbahi From:
