Bcos in an rct the bact can enter canal theough coronal part, not apical, thats why if u r asked which part is more sterile, its the apical, which is also the reason y in rct good seal at the coronal third is more important then the apical. I hope u got my point. Also if its overfilled ,,the chance of apical irritation is more. But with an underfill upto 2mm i think, it can b asymtimaric. It also says any iver or underfill > 2mm in xray, with a file that we take to determine lenght, retaking xray is justified by protocol, usually we take 4 pa's in rct, but in this case, u can take again.
