PLEASE NEED UR HELP

1.what`s the minimum probing depth required for a furcational involvement to occur???

((According to the BPE index for scores (3 and 4) we take an x ray according to the guidelines in the BRITISH SOCIETY OF PERIODONTOLOGY.))

2. DO WE TAKE AN XRAY FOR FURCATION INVOLVEMENT??????

hi ebtessam , i think any noticable change in xray can be seen after grade 2 furcation involvement (according to glickmann classification) so ithink u only take xray for class 3 and 4 furcation involvement !!!

class 4 !! never heard about it , by the way do you guys know that (*) in BPE

now only indicates furcation involvement, i.e if pocket depth is 7 .5 mm its

score 4 check the new guidelines of BPE for 2011
