questions about scenarios of teeth loss and treatment plan for replacement

(cantilever / RRB cantilever / conventional bridge ... etc ) sometimes it says

that there is a pointed canine .. what does pointed canine indicates for ? ...

does it means canine guided occlussion ? does it a hint to use the canine as a

single abutment ??

example :

(1) canine pointed, lateral incisor spaces, diastemas ... What's the first line

of treatment ?

(2) lateral incisor has restoration, pointed canine ... what's the first line

of treatment ?
