Subject: --does timing matter

.... I think you are the only one so far that

I've read about that has the late afternoon/evening rash and fever. It

seems

like most Stills people have the rash and fever all day and night. But,

then

again, we are all so different in our symptoms and treatments. The worse

for

me was the night sweats........ :o(

Dear Carmen,

When I finally got an appointment late enough for my RD to see the rash

and I told him that it was like " my arthritis has a clock on it. " He

looked at me with excitment and said, " It's Still's! You have Still's

disease! " Then he rushed out of the room to get one of his associates so

he could " show off " his Still's patient. LOL. Mine is one of the best

docs in town, but he had only seen one other case in his lifetime, I

think. His associate wasn't nearly as impressed and excited as my doc,

but it was good to know what I had, and that the " clock " part of it was

actually diagnostic of the disease -- I wasn't just a hypochondriac after

all!

I just can't believe that you have to find another school for CB. His behavior doesn't sound that challenging to me. How will CB adjust to the change? Poor guy; so many big changes going on in his life. He is learning mighty early how unfair life can be. The timing idea is a good one. Pat K

Thre school is 'done' with him? Why, since he has been improving and doing better? Are they afraid of him?
