Guest guest
Hi In Master 2 page 189 states that The contraindications to the prolonged RCT (in case of the dental trauma ) are: 1.Congenital heart disease.2.Rheumatic fever .3.Severe immunosupression. and also it states that the endo treatment should be under the antibiotic cover for atleast during the extirpation of the pulp and when determening the working length. NOW: Please can you help me with these questions with refernces(if possible): 1. Are those diseases contraindicated to conventional RCT ?(not prolonged) 2.Knowing After 2008 the antibiotic cover has been removed ,is the antibiotic cover still in force for these diseases in this situation?
