Guest guest
Bruce, If you are looking for hep c litigation-related case law, you might start with a legal research site such as " FindLaw " or " LawCrawler " . Are you planning to bring some sort of action against the correctional facility where you contracted the virus? Can you show that they were negligent in protecting you, or that the facility failed to train you in the proper handling of boildiy fluids, or did not provide you with protective devices, such as gloves? Did you sign anything during the course of your employment acknowledging awareness and acceptance of the dangers, specifically of work related injuries? I don't know that there is much case law as yet, or precedents in regard to damages, etc., but it would be interesting to find out. I will try and help you do this research, but it may be quicker on your own as I am quite busy at work today. Perhaps tonight I will be able to look into this for you.
