Bruce,

If you are looking for hep c litigation-related case law, you might

start with a legal research site such as " FindLaw " or " LawCrawler " .

Are you planning to bring some sort of action against the

correctional facility where you contracted the virus? Can you show

that they were negligent in protecting you, or that the facility

failed to train you in the proper handling of boildiy fluids, or did

not provide you with protective devices, such as gloves? Did you sign

anything during the course of your employment acknowledging awareness

and acceptance of the dangers, specifically of work related injuries?

I don't know that there is much case law as yet, or precedents in

regard to damages, etc., but it would be interesting to find out. I

will try and help you do this research, but it may be quicker on your

own as I am quite busy at work today. Perhaps tonight I will be able

to look into this for you.

All the Best,

Hello,Please except my apology up front, for a part on my inflection is attention span, with many others, but in my request I hope you can be patient. Statistics I seek are the ones that in a bizarre way are good to my case. I contracted HCV at a prison (as an employee, so I request stats on the percentage of cases in my position, being a supervisor to inmates I worked along side them in their living quarters showers and toilets, I bandaged them up when injured, my position had me closer tothe inmates than any one other than the Medical Staff. Timing is there argument, stating that 13 years was to early to contract it. Also the count or names of all the fringe benefits for HCV Cirrhosis Cryoglob. Neuropathy and the sub groups associated with HCV, including the treatment and it's company. I know my body and things are speeding up, I don't want to be fighting for funds, and to be swept under the rug. This is no quest! but I have realized just how alone we are. 45 years in this spot and there is one and I must cut loose. Court cases in favor would be great. Thanks Deuce
