One of these days I'll remember to hit the tab key and not the Enter key and

stop sending blank messages.

To Greenholt:

I think our doctors must be talkink to each other. Your medication list almost

matches mine.

I'm taking 400mg of Cardarone, 20 mg Prinivil, .125 Digoxin,2.5 Coumadin ( I'd

thought it was my cholestrerol medicine- 40mg Zocor- that was causing the

thinning hair) Glucatrol for my diabedes, Toprol X-L and a nitroglycerine patch

plus Pepcid to help settle my stomch from taking all of that junk.

Hi There,

Isn't taking all this medicine the most fun you ever had! I am interesting

in knowing what your ejection fraction is (EF) Mine is 20-22. Pretty low

due to damage caused my Heart Attack. By the way, I cannot find anything

on net regarding if the thinning hair can be reversed after stopping

Coumadin (which is not likely to happen). If you find anything - shout!

Hey Tom

This is Jimmy from Belgium.

My ejection fraction was at a time 10%. And believe it or not I could

exercise!!!. I was 38 at that time. Now I am 54 my ejection fraction is

substantially higher, and I am not sur I can exercise better.

Ejection fraction fortunately does not mean all. There is other factors but

don't ask me what.

Morning Jimmy,

It was real interesting to learn that your EF has increased over time. I

have not had mine checked since my initial test about a year ago. I just

got home from walking with my wife. Our average walks are 3 miles. I do

lots of yard work and other things around the house. So I am in agreement

with you that EF must only be one of the factors involved with my disease.

When I was taking certain medications, especially beta-blockers, I felt

like a wet rag. Didn't have the energy to get off the sofa or go to the

bathroom. Once they were stopped, within days I felt like a different man.

I assume then that medications, although they are important, can be a

problem on an individual basis. One thing for sure, if I feel bad - I let

the doctors know. Why feel bad if you don't have to.>And my ICD is not

responsible for my overall well-being.

I know that I will never be the same man I was a few years ago - but darn

if I am not going to try to do what I can do under the circumstances.

Hi Labiba,

You can check with your doctor, if vinegar is alright to use with your

medication then probably Kombucha tea would be fine as well.

You may want to take your medicine and your Kombucha at least an hour

apart just in case.

I think it's ok. I took statin drugs for a long time when I first began using

Kombucha, no problems. Except the statin drugs themselves.

I'am taking medicine for the colestrol to lower it, all the medicine not good

Yes the blood in sputum mandates examination of lungs for cancer.

Some times blood in sputum occurs in bronchiectasis.
