Hi all Do all know where we stand .All of us know that we have long waiting list for part 2 say around 600 to 800.Every year another 300 gets added if go by stat .....Even if gdc conducts 6 part 2 exam still many of us have to wait for 11/2 to 2 or 3 or 4 years.BY STATISTICS AROUND 25 TO 30 PEOPLE PASS EACH EXAM .SO IN YEAR AROUND 120 TO 150pass part 2.The left over will have to repeat say around 450 and then again 300(april ore 1and sept ore 1) new candidates will get added.Recently one of my friend who gave part 2 in march he failed .he says gdc will not allow him take part 2 until next year.every time you fail you get into new waiting list so he has already been waiting for 13 months after

part one and when he appeard in march and failed now again he will be eligible only after a year so total of 26months.still wait and see and try booking and may not get booking after one year.once booking opens already waiting people say around 500 plus newly added 300 will try to book the exam so out 800 only 100 will get chance .So by end of 2 years we may get chance to sit for just for the exam and if we fail wait again one year or more than that by then another 300 will be added. So totally 3 to 4 yrs to finish just the exams .then vtone may spend easily 8000 to 10,000 pound easily for an exam +stress+frustation and at any point the gdc may stop or change rulesof the exam then add another year of stress and 300 more suffers.with this my time we do bds again ........is int .........we are in big web of

I totally agree with you. If I were brave enough, I would’ve signed a petition and took it to a solicitor whom would be able to confront this unfair system of the GDC. But hey ho who am I (a drop in the sea).
