Guest guest
Thank you Waael and Cathryn It is my belief that educating ourselves on the events that may have led us to this, is the thing that ultimately is going to get us out of it. (Us, being us as the human race, not as an American, I'm Canadian) This is not a comment on any one politician, or country at all, but as long as we are ignorant, the politicians have all the power and it certainly diminishes the benefits of living in a democracy. It is a common saying that we can't fix anything until we know what is broken. I would still be grateful for any public sources of information on many of the points made in Waael's post so that I can post it to the site that I created for this. To be honest, there has been no interest in it so I haven't kept it up but if anyone has information on how a person could educate themselves from a reliable source if so inclined, please send the links to me and I'll add them. Guest guest
Thank you, Waael. A very well-written article you circulated. While mourning the victims of September 11th and trying to put it all in perspective, it is important that we go outside the U.S. " mainstream " media to GET that perspective. It is great to be able to have an outlet such as making soaps, face lotions, aromatherapy during this time but we must also face our reality.
