Thanks Pat!!!!

A stint is a plastic tube often in the form of a mesh that is

inserted into the lumen of an anatomical vessel (as an artery or

bile duct) especially to keep a previously blocked passageway open.

Mine was put in my bile duct because it was clogged, they cut the

bile duct and put the stint in to help keep it open while my bile

duct was healing.

Hi Liz,

Thanks so much for educating me as to what a stint is. I hope that it

didn't hurt you (in terms of pain) too too much, but I can't imagine

something like that not having hurt!!!! I am so sorry that you had to

go through that!!! It must have been so firghtening for you!!! My

heart truly goes out to you, my dear, dear friend!!!

You have my love, Liz, now and always. Please give Steve a big hug and

a big kiss for me, O.K.?

Love always,

Pat

Hi

Hi Everyone,

Yes, I'm still alive!!! I'm still swelling and having pain occasionally. I go

to the hosp. Thurs. morning to have my stint removed and the doctor's going to

look to see if I have an ulcer or something else that might be causing my pain.

Sunday I did 60 LL breaths and a stability ball workout.

Mon. I did 85 LL breaths some with my ball and some without. I also worked out

a little with a stability ball DVD.

Today I did 50 LL breaths with a 2 ml. walk.

I'm counting calories trying to lose weight and Kista, my sister, is helping

me. I figure if I can lose weight even if I'm swollen I won't feel as big.

Today was mine and Steve's 19th anniversary and we're still going strong. :-)

Love, Liz

What can changing the way you breathe do for you? Everything!
