Guest guest
Dear Readers and Critics, Why would A.P. be surprised at this revelation? How many NGO's in A.P. support the health and safety of the sex work industry from the point of view of the workers, their clients, and the community? How long is it going to take to implement the first signs of reality I have seen in that State for 4 years based on a recent read from the C.M., APSACS and the Health Ministry? There is a lot of water to try pushing up hill in A.P. How are care and support issues being addressed? How is treatment roll out being improved? What efforts are being made to educate A.P. citizens about the real risks and the obvious myths around HIV infectivity? The record is poor in the places I read from. I have not been encouraged to work in A.P. but I am interested in hearing from those that are because there is much evidence of best practice available now to act as a guide - vis a vis Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
