Guest guest
Yes! Then once you start building muscle, you can't wait to eat AGAIN... LOL I was eating ONCE a day maybe before I started BFL so I was REALLY scared to eat 6 times a day. But it works!!!! Good luck! ~kimmah Hello Hey everyone I'm new to the club and just wanted to say hello. I just started the BFL challenge on the 20th of January and going strong I'm happy to say. I just have a question it feels like I'm not doing that much of a workout to be eating as much as I am (well it feels like I'm eating alot because of the six small meals). Today will be my first day to weights but did anyone else feel this way at the begining? Let me know Betty

Guest guest
In Portland, OR, we have many grocery stores with 'health food' sections. The flax oil is always in a cooler in this area. -Shaun Hello Hello everyone. I hope yall are doing well today. I just got through reading the digests and figured on post was enough. I had problems getting on last night too and I wrote to the group support and got the same email that referred me to the same place I worte to. Then about 5 mins ago I got a survey asking how the support was and I let them know " What support? " you didn't help answer my question at all. I have a Quick Question about the Flax seed oil. Where do you pick this up at? Is it in the Grocery store or a health food store. I am on my way to do the shopping for my challenge next week and would like to do it in one shot. Kathi congrats on your concert tickets. If your sister doesn't come you could always ebay the ticket. I hope you enjoy it for all the hard work you have done. I have already got my prize for when I finish my 12 wks. It is a two piece swim suit that I would never wear in public now but in 12 weeks I will have the body for it. I have it hung on the front door so I see it every morning when I take my daugther to the bus stop. I also am going to put my before pics on the fridge so I remember to eat well and why I am doing this. Have a wonderful weekend.
Guest guest
Hey I bought my flax seed oil at the health food store my grocer only had the capsules ( you would need to take something like 15 capsules a day or something like that due to the little amount they have in them)Once you open the bottle remember to refrigerate. Good Luck on the challenge Take care and stay strong Betty > Hello everyone. I hope yall are doing well today. Guest guest
Actually, it must be refrigerated when you buy it too! Never buy flax seed oil that is at room temperature. Guest guest
I eat every two hours. So I do the morning workout, eat the first meal at 9. Then 11, 1, 3, 5 and 7. That seems to work well for me. If I wake up starved, I'll have a myoplex shake, then work out, then eat every two hours. hello Hello, I'm new to the group, I'm anxious to get to know all of you. I have a question for ya... I've just started the a challenge and I'm having trouble fitting in the meals. I'm using lean dynamax, so I wake up take that, wait 30 minutes, workout, then wait an hour before my first meal. After all that time is up it's hard to get in enough meals. Any suggestions? Also, do you wait an hour to eat after weight lifting or just cardio? Thanks for the help!!
Guest guest
On a perfect day I finish my work-out about 6:15 Meal 1: 7:30 Meal 2: 10:30 Meal 3: 12:30 Meal 4: 3:00 Meal 5: 6:00 Meal 6: 8:30 Make sure your meals are small. It's easy to overestimate your portions and then you're not hungry. Grab a good meal replacement shake or something for a couple of your meals. > Hello, I'm new to the group, I'm anxious to get to know all of you. > I have a question for ya... Guest guest
, sorry to hear you in so much pain. The more you rest that shoulder the longer those injections will last. Really. Vacation or not, give it a longer one. Guest guest
Hi Jerry, I'm Bridget. I have had my ICD for 9 months or so now. I've been zapped 5 times in that time. But I know others who go years with no zaps. Personally, I think the anxiety before was worse so maybe getting at least one zap was a good thing for me. I know others feel differently though. Anyway, I was wondering where in Ohio? Bridget in Akron. > Hi my name is Jerry and i got my ICD on Friday April 5th, 2003 > All i can say is if i get zapped...from what i've heard, i hope it's > after my surgery heals....LOL Good luck to you all...You can find > me on AIM as jerohio or zappedinohio Take care Jerry
Guest guest
Hi Bridget I'm in Toledo, but did live in Cuyahoga Falls for years. I last worked in the falls leaving in 2001. As far as being zapped, i'm not really worried about it, but really would prefer if it did, that it wait till this wound heals....LOL....Still pretty sore. I origianally applied for Social Security Disabilty in Akron, when my only problems were Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Carpel Tunnel and nerve damage in both hands.....Now this and congestive heart failure. Been told to check into a transplant, but i'll take my chances the meds do their job.....Thanks for writing and write anytime.....One can never have enough friends Jerry Re: Hello Hi Jerry,I'm Bridget. Guest guest
Hi Jerry; Welcome to the group. As far as getting zapped i hope it never happens to you but if you do you dont worry about where the incision is(in my case) it feels like big thump in the chest and if you can manage to stay calm it'll be over before you know it. Guest guest
Hey Jerry... I hope you never have the need to be Zapped either... as for me... got my first unit in June (?) of '94 after only benefical med began to fail and due to previous studies on Encaid having high mortality rates I had to be taken off of it, hence implant ... I've yet to be Zapped (knockin' on wood) and I'm now on my second unit implanted in Nov. of '98 ... batteries droppin' quickly and they tell me my thrid unit isn't far off... I also, when first dx in '90, was told to be expecting need for TX w/in 10 yrs... that was over 13 yrs ago and still no TX for me ... only improvement ... Good luck to you and welcome to the group JES in NJ God Bless America and our troops everywhere > Hi my name is Jerry and i got my ICD on Friday April 5th, 2003 > All i can say is if i get zapped...from what i've heard, i hope it's > after my surgery heals....LOL Good luck to you all...You can find > me on AIM as jerohio or zappedinohio Take care Jerry
