What does that mean

"Antibiotic prophylaxis against infective endocarditis is not recommended:

for people undergoing dental procedures"

So there is no prophylaxis anymore for dental procedures according to NICE?Thank you.

Hi, Ann Marry Acc to NICE guidelines ....Antibiotics prophylaxis should not be given to any patients with structual cardiac defects undergoing dental procedures.......!! so no prophylaxis is given to endocarditis patient. From: Ann Marry
