Guest guest
Hi Brenna, Life Lift breathing is the most gentle breathing method that you will ever come across, I think. Yes, it most certainly does increase lung capacity, most especially if you make it a permanent part of your life and if you plan to do it for the rest of your life. It is good for any pathological condition. If Life LIft breathing does not cure your diseases and conditions, it will certainly halp to make them less severe and more easy for you to live with. It is also wonderful for lowering high blood pressure and for making one lose weight. I myself am using it to change my metabolism permanently and I will definitely do it for the rest of my life. I have been on the program for almost one year now, having started my Life Lift program in February of 2005. Although I do not weigh myself more than once or twice a year, I can tell by the way my clothes fit me and by the way I look in the mirror that I have lost at least 40 lbs. already. It is my suggestion that you build yourself up to the point where you will be able to do 100 Life Lift breaths a day. Rashelle tells you on her Original Life Lift video to do 40 Life Lift breaths a day for maximum results, but I find that I do better with 100 breaths a day. I know that that sounds really hard to do, but it is really not. Not only is it not hard to do 100 Life Lift breaths a day, but you will find that it is also a lot of FUN!!! Here is the way I do 100 Life Lift breaths a day, or as close to that number as I can on any given day: ****I do 10 Life Lift breaths each time I go to the bathroom while I am sitting on the toilet by counting 10 reps on my fingers as I go. Let's say that I go to the bathroom 8 times in a day. That means that by the end of the day, I will have done 80 Life LIft breaths for that day. Let's say that on a certain day I go to the bathroom 10 times. Then on that day, I will have done 100 Life Lift breaths. In additon to doing 10 Life Lift breaths 10 times each time I go to the bathroom, I do it 10 times in the morning as soon as I wake up, and then 10 times again after I have gotten into bed at night just before I go to sleep!!! I hope that my method of doing Life Lift breaths each day will help you and encourage you, Brenna, and I wish you as much luck with this program as I am having. Rashelle is such a wonderful teacher and supporter, that you can't possibly go wrong with this if you are persistent and regular with it. Please feel free to ask me anything you want about my experience with Life Lift at any time. I will be more than happy to help you and to encourage you whenever you need me. Just write to me whenever you need to, and I will answer you as soon as I can. May God bless you, Brenna, and take care of yourself and your family. Good luck to you with Life LIft, dear, and I hope that you have one super duper week!!! Love always, Pat Life Lift - still thinking about it Dear All, I still have not gotten ANY LifeLift yet. I was wondering if it helps increase your lung capacity because I know that I have a decreased lung capacity due to PCOS/PCOD (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome/Disease) . Are there any other health benefits to it. I seem to do better with easy exercises and am wondering how calm the breathing is. I don't do great with FAST deep breathing or anything like that. I would deeply appreciate some help on this one.
Guest guest
Hi Brenna, Welcome to this wonderful list. I am an asthmatic; with other health problems as well. I have been doing Lifelift for a little over 6 years and the breathing has definately helped increase my lung capacity. Lifelift is a very soft; gentle yet effective way of increasing our oxygen throughout our bodies. And once I learned the breathing technique; I was able to incorporate it within my daily living; and creating my own exercises that I am able to do. If you do consider purchasing this program; I personally would recommend the Original DVD (which has the step by step instructions) as well as the Reflexology DVD. Never be in a rush with this program; go at your own pace. You will succeed. And feel better! And breathe easier. Take care, Wanda. > > Dear All, > > I still have not gotten ANY LifeLift yet. Guest guest
Hey Wanda, You never told me that you have asthma and other health problems. Of course, I do know that you have diabetes, which causes a lot of other " sub diseases " to crop up, and many problems with your teeth and gums, so I guess that I really shouldn't be surprised. One thing that I love about you, Wanda, my friend, is that even though you DO have all of these problems, some of them potentially life threatening and some of them not, you are always so cheerful and always have a big broad smile on your face which ALWAYS comes across in your wonderful words of love and concern for all of us!!! Thank you so much for always being such a bright beacon of light that shines upon all of us and gives us such hope for the future!!! Have a wonderful week, Wanda, and please give all my love to Mark and your sweet, darling dad for me!!! Love always, Pat Re: Life Lift - still thinking about it Hi Brenna, Welcome to this wonderful list. I am an asthmatic; with other health problems as well. Guest guest
Welcome Brenna, I'm pretty new at this too but I've found that if I start to do the breaths, I want to do more. I've been dividing them up throughout the day and today my goal is 100. I have 10 to go. I know that since I have been doing the breaths, I've had way more energy and one nice side effect is that I'm very conscious of tucking my tummy in and of my posture. I never really paid any attention to it, now I do and also I find that during the day even when I am not counting the breaths, I am breathing more fully and much deeper and that feels good. Blessings to you as you incorporate this into your life. *Chris*
Guest guest
Hi all, I just wanted to join in as I have finally gotten online again, it's been about 3 weeks. I'm traveling through parts of Australia and right now am at the Great Barrier Reef. My LifeLift really helped with holding my breath while watching the stunning coral reef & marine life below me while I was snorkeling and free diving. I've also been really enjoying Rashelle's CD where you can just breathe along with her, especially when I'm driving, but I love it in the morning too---a great way to start my day off right. While I'm driving I've been listening to Rashelle's Victory Theory CDs---they are great! She is so inspiring. And then when I don't see a change in my body, I just think, well, it's just taking my body a bit more time and maybe I am healing something I can't see or measure. Maybe I'm really detoxing!? Maybe I'm healing my spirit, my heart. Anyway, why would I want to stop breathing? I don't! It's one thing I know I can do for myself that is 100% positive and it makes me feel good about myself. Breath is life. It's also great to know that I'm part of a larger community of breathers! Thank you so much for being so supportive of us all.....I'm new to LifeLift and l love hearing from those who have been doing this for many yeas. Off to a new adventure today..... xxxM > > Dear All, > > I still have not gotten ANY LifeLift yet. Guest guest
Hi Do you mind if I ask you how long that you have been practicing lifelift? I am looking forward to more energy Kisha* > > Welcome Brenna, > > I'm pretty new at this too but I've found that if I start to do the > breaths, I want to do more. Guest guest
Hi Kisha, Actually it's not been that long that I have been consistant in doing the breaths. I have had the DVD for about a year I guess and couldn't discipline myself to do it but now the time is right and it's easier than I thought to get them in. Pat L. is a big inspiration and she made me realize that I don't have to do them all at once. I do a bunch while I'm driving. And they really add up. I'm pretty sure it's the breathing that is giving me the extra energy. I used to sometimes feel like I needed a nap in the afternoon to get through supper time etc. but not lately. Someone mentioned snacking on oxygen and that sounds good especially with Christmas coming up. Take care and enjoy this program! Oh, I just realized I didn't answer your question. I'd say I've been consistant about 2 weeks or so............not long for the improvement I've noticed. *Chris* On Wed, 29 Nov 2006 02:25:00 -0000 " kizacat " <kizacat@...> writes: Hi Do you mind if I ask you how long that you have been practicing lifelift?
