LAWYERS COLLECTIVE

HIV/AIDS UNIT – Head Office (HO), Mumbai – a project supported by the Swedish

International Development Agency – is seeking personnel for the posts of Project

Coordinator and Programme Manager for the HO. The following criteria are

required.

Project Coordinator: Degree in law / public health policy – keen sensitivity to

and extensive knowledge and experience (at least 5 years) in broad range of

issues arising out of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in India with particular emphasis on

legal, medical, social and ethical issues – good managerial, communication and

facilitation and team work skills – experience with NGOs and public interest

issues – should indicate management, coordination and supervisory skills –

comprehensive computer literacy essential – good writing skills and fluency &

communication skills in English, Hindi and any other local language.

Programme Manager: Management graduate, adept in administrative and financial

systems including budgeting, accounting, report writing, streamlining,

implementing and overseeing infrastructure and efficient management systems –

experience (at least 5 years) should indicate competency in programme

supervision and management – comprehensive computer literacy and good writing

skills essential – fluency in English, Hindi and any other local language.
