Guest guest
Hi Amie, I can tell from experience and years of Lifelift; that yes, Lifelift does indeed build muscles. People even comment on how defined some of my muscles have become. I do know some very thin people with a high body fat mass. That's a hard one to comprehend for me; maybe someone can explain it further? Take care and keep up the great work. Wanda. > > Does anybody know if LL builds muscle? I have a new scale and it tells you you body fat mass...oops mine is 41%. I'v been reading up on it and you can be skinny with too high of a fat content. I was just wandering if the breathing build those muscles! Where do some of you live? I am in Georgia. > > > Amie Black-Buchanan > Salon Carpe Diem > 770-965-4201 > > > --------------------------------- > Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Hi Amie, Where in Georgia? I lived in Marietta and Powder Springs for 4 years. I love Georgia. I'm in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 20 minutes from the state capital, burg. Family is here. I don't have an answer to your question. I would think yes some if one does the positions but how much would be my question. Smiles & Hugs, :-) Amie Black-Buchanan <amieblackbuchanan@...> wrote: Does anybody know if LL builds muscle? Guest guest
I can explain the high fat mass in thin people. It's a complex process but to put it simply...starvation diets cause loss of muscle and the body can even begin to eat the heart muscle. The fat hangs on to " protect " and the effects of severe dieting throught the years make for a flabby fat skinny person. Isn't that an appetizing thought?! Crazy! :-) Amie Black-Buchanan <amieblackbuchanan@...> wrote: Thankyou Wanda...I cant believe more people dont know about this! winwithlifelift <winwithlifelift@...> wrote: Hi Amie, I can tell from experience and years of Lifelift; that yes, Lifelift does indeed build muscles. Guest guest
Hey, I live in Braselton Ga near Lake Lanier and the North Ga Mountains. I think it was Wanda that emailed me and said yes it does that people report more definintion and muscle tone. How long have you been doing LL? <fpgmiss@...> wrote: Hi Amie, Where in Georgia? Guest guest
I have been doing it about a year...I lose track of time. I am familiar with the area. I love to hike and camp in the GA Mountains. We went to Lake Allatoona (sp?) quite a bit. With the drought it looked so sad this past summer. I saw it on the news. I picked up a kitten (surprise, surprise) when I was there once and named him Lake. He lived a shorter life than I would have liked but he made it several years which was saying alot when I found him a starving little baby. He was beautiful. Yes, it was Wanda who told you of the muscle definition that can be achieved. She knows her LL stuff. She is definitely a reliable source when it comes to LL. I wish I knew what she knows. She can pick out a newsletter excerpt to fit almost any conversation going on in this group at the time. I love that she does so because I get further education in a quick easy manner and it all adds up. Knowledge is empowering. Guest guest
Why do you love LL? Have you lost weight? I like it because I feel good when I do it and yes I have lost inches and weight but I have changed my eating habits also. I do seem to have more tone in my arms. <fpgmiss@...> wrote: I have been doing it about a year...I lose track of time. I am familiar with the area. I love to hike and camp in the GA Mountains. Guest guest
Amie, I love LL because it gives me energy I lack due to chronic fatigue syndrome. The positions are great for stretching which helps the fibromyalgia. I'm a reflexologist so I agree with the philosophy behind the whole LL program. The inspiration and fun in this group is rare with most things, let alone an exercise program. It's a way of life because it's doable. Bottom line: Results. I have lost weight and inches. I fail because I am not consistent long term. No one can help me with that...except me. If I had been consistent instead of having to lose the same weight and inches over and over, I would be underweight...lol. There you have it! :-) Amie Black-Buchanan <amieblackbuchanan@...> wrote: Why do you love LL? Have you lost weight?
