It's been a while since I have written anything so

Thought I would send in a poem I wrote just this

afternoon.

This one was number four. I started out with one that

was pretty melancholy but I will spare you from that

one and just put in the one that was last.

JUST ANOTHER DAY

3/14/2008

by:V.K. Hutton

It was just another day

when my thoughts had taken flight

it was just another day

when the sun was shinning bright

It was just another day

as I set and thought of you

Just another day

As I prayed you'd make it through

Just another day when the hill

Seemed too steep to climb

Just another day

When I heard myself start to whine

Just another day as simple as the rest

As thoughts came unbidden to make me

feel unrest

Just another day when

I knew what I must do

Just another day spent on

the phone with you

It was just another day no different than the rest

When our prayers had been answered

and I found I passed the test.

Have a wonderful day!

;-) Virginia

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsover things are honest,

whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be

any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
