Guest guest
I don't remember if I have shared this site or not. The timer I use for my stuff is an online timer. It works great to keep me focused. Just thought I would share again, or for the first time if I haven't shared it before. http://www.masie.com/stream/timer.htm Karma The secret of being all you have within you to be is as simple as having a goal, following a proven plan of action to attain it, and then developing a constant and never-ending Persistence to achieve that goal. Guest guest
I use it for a lot of things to keep me focused. I tend to try to do too many things at the same time and then get scattered with nothing done! When I am dragging and need to do some breaths, I'll set the timer for 15 minutes, get up from my desk and get to breathing. I used to try to breath through reading of e-mails, but I got sidetracked too easily and realized I was only half breathing and half paying attention to what I was reading. So.... now I put on the timer and the breathing gets my full attention for that period of time. I also use it to keep my focused on office stuff. When I have lots of fires to put out, I set the timer and focus on one thing for that period of time, then when it goes off, I move to the next fire whether I'm done or not. I rotate between three fires with my fourth 15 minutes for me as a breathing/bathroom/water break. This keeps me stress free and very productive. :-) During the day I work in my husband's law office as a bankruptcy specialist. I take people through the process, I set up spending plans for them, I organize their situation to help them with a better plan so they can get a fresh start. People tend to panic when their paychecks are being garnished, or bank accounts frozen or they are in the process of losing their home. As you can imagine, I have plenty of fires to put out and of course everyone's situation is very important so I have to be organized and productive. The timer helps me when I find myself drowning in confusion over which emergency is most important. I pick three and go at it. :-) Plus it helps me to take care of me. I'm a workaholic and forget to take time to breath and drink my water. LOL Does that help? Karma Re: Timer Karma, I visited the site but do not understand what you use it for exactly. In what regard is it helpful? It looks interesting though. I'm wondering how I might use it to keep me focused with at home business, study time, exercise, etc. I get overwhelmed at times with, not so much the multi-tasking of daily life itself, but remembering it all. I would very much appreciate your input of how you make the timer work in your life. It looks like a nifty little gadget. Thanks. Smiles & Hugs, :-) Karma Tucker <karmatucker@...> wrote: I don't remember if I have shared this site or not. The timer I use for my stuff is an online timer. It works great to keep me focused.
