Guest guest
Molly dear, It's so good to see a post from you. By all means I will lift you in prayer and ask my prayer partner to join with me as well. I know all too well what you mean by life getting in the way. I'm still trying to convince myself to change long standing habits that are not to my benefit. So, please pray for me as well. :-)Virginia --- mollynevarez <mollynevarez@...> wrote: > Hello Sweet Virginia , > Sorry that i have been absent so long . Guest guest
Thank you . God is good, even when bad things happen and our hopes are deferred. ;-)Virginia --- <brellegood@...> wrote: > Lifting you both up in prayer. > > > -- In LifeLift , Virginia Hutton > <sos4mom@...> wrote: > > > > Molly dear, > > > > It's so good to see a post from you. Thanks for sharing. > > ;-)Virginia > > > Hi Molly, I must say that I am failing miserably. I don't cook much anymore because of my lack of ability to stand among other things. My hubby pretty much does his own thing and me and our daughter do for us. We put on crock pot full of beans and ham hock and he usually makes the cornbread. He makes sandwiches like this...peanut butter spread between bologna or similar lunch meat laid on paper towel that is peeled back as he takes bites. Soup is usually filled with crushed corn chips in place of crackers. He also does a mixed drink that he makes ahead and drinks on all day. He usually puts soda and mixes it with different flavored sugar free mixes or some such to give different flavors. While I'm sure he does some other variations that I'm sleeping through that is the mainstay for him now. I've been sifting through some recipes but I get so bogged down with them and usually the lack of money to buy what I need to accomplish as well as a daughter that frequently wants to negotiate what I've planned and takes very little initiative to make any of it work. I get really frustrated. Couple that with my own health and lack of initiative problems and we can start a new Whine and Cheese club! lol It's one day at a time. Refocus when possible and move on. ;-) Virginia Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsover things are honest, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
