Guest guest
Kris, To stay away from bad food I just keep it out of my house - if its not here I can't eat it. I look at it this way: sugary and processed food is more expensive and bad for me so I just don't buy it. Of course it doesn't work if you have other people who bring the wrong stuff in the house. I've been known to put snacks that are good for a long time on a top shelf I can't reach and actually throw perishable stuff away when my bf brings it in the house (if he doesn't eat it before I get to it) Its just not worth it. kris alcs wrote: > > Does anyone have coping mechanisms to stay away from > 'bad' food? > > Kris. Guest guest
*Well, they say confession is good for the soul so here I go. First, I have not been consistant at all in my breathing and to tell you the truth I really thought I was doing ok without it. I really focussed this last year on my eating and walking/running and light weights, and finally lost the 20 pounds I have been carrying around for the last 20 years. When I first started running, I noticed that my legs gave out much before my stamina. But as the weeks and months went by, I noticed my legs were getting really strong but my stamina was almost nil. Now I consider myself a pretty smart cookie but boy did I goof up on this one!!! The light bulb finally went off in my dense skull and I realized why I had no stamina. I was not breathing!!!!!! I can remember when I was doing my breathing consistantly, I could run up hill in the mountains and not lose my breath. I guess what I am trying to say is this Lifelift really does work!!! I know now that I have to do it to stay strong. Not just my lungs but it benefits every organ. So, I am now going to do my 40 breaths!!!! Keep up the good work all of you and keep breathing!!!!* *Love,* * C*
