Guest guest
Every day is a challenge Bori! Join in tomorrow. Rita Helene Just wanted to say hello and glad to see you back! And to let you know that reading your last few posts made me step away from the fudge covered graham crackers I was eating - exactly what I needed tonight!! I have been semi lurking lately around here, mostly because my eating has been so so, and partly because my pc had a virus But I think I am set now. Did the major grocery thing this weekend so I am good to go. Although I think those cookies did in my chance to join your weekly challenge. But I can do better for the rest of the week. I am hoping to get back here on a more regular basis to help keep me on track. Thanks for the incentive Bori

Guest guest
Hi Helene: I used to post on this site all the time in 2001...still lurk on this site but don't post much. Still doing the fitness thing but not BFL. I dropped out in 2002 and gained 25 pounds in a stressful year but have taken most of it off and am slowly losing weight, inches... lost a lot of inches off my torso all of a sudden this winter.. not sure why? But, that's a good thing! I have not been lifting since November (blasphemy) because I couldn't get the scale to budge--need to lose pounds to get weight off my feet, which were hurting me (according to my doc, my feet were designed for a certain weight and I know from history when I get there they won't hurt at all, already getting better...)... am getting there now and want to drop about 5 more pounds and get back to lifting, without gaining scale weight (which won't be difficult) and keep slowly losing. I love lifting (BFL style) more than anything I do... I am 55 and think I have finally figured out the whole weight thing after years of bad diets. I no longer diet, I eat really healthy (basically BFL/Zone) am very active and have slowly lost almost 20 pounds in the past year and a half. I was lifting for about 12 months of that and will start again this spring/early summer. It is the best. I don't do free days... every once in a while I have something I don't normally eat or go out to a restaurant and then I just go back to my normal style of eating... I just don't obsess about food anymore which is really working for me. Thinking about food all the time--which is what evey diet keeps you doing (because you think about the diet) is almost as bad as thinking about bad food all the time. Good luck with your program... I will keep an eye out for you. Marti > > Hey Miss! Remember me?
