Guest guest
I started my business in May of 2001. Was doing fine until post 9/11. I then had to take a temporary position until February of 2002, when once again, I set out to do business. The winter was pretty good, especially for Valentine's & Mother's Day. Spring was really okay and then this summer was slow. Now that September is here, business is picking up. I had been doing shows on the road for nearly six years, but continued to look for a permanent space, which I was lucky enough to find. My business (mostly cp soap, lip balms, body butter, salt & sugar scrubs, talc-free dusting powder, fizzies, etc.) is located in the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. I love what I do. Guest guest
Hi Lynette-how did you do shows on the road? Like a PartyLite type of show where you go to people's homes and put on a show??? I would love to find a store front to rent but a firend of mine did that and she ended up folding up because the rent was too expensive for her to handle! Thats why im doing it from home now!! Thanks for the info on your business and I wish you much success! Guest guest
Hey Misty - I did flea markets and craft shows at all sorts of venues including churches, neighborhood street fairs, a horticulture center, the exterior of a prison, a farm or two, to name the ones I recall. Rent at a permanent spot can be pretty horrific. The cart I rent is not soooo awful, however, in October I will be giving up 25% of my space to a good friend who will be showing and selling her fantastic photography. She will contribute to the rental expenses. Namaste - Lynette of Terralyn in Philadelphia, PA
Guest guest
Hi Been doing LL for awhile and I love it, but I still hven't lost... How many LL breaths should I do in a day for maximum results?
Guest guest
Do at least 20 to 30 minutes daily and make sure you are doing something different every few days. Add different positions and make sure you are eating something every few hours. If you don't eat enough in a day and your body will think you are starving and it will store the calories from the foods you eat as back up storage. It will become unhealthy fat. You can do as many LifeLift breaths as you would like and be sure to take it slow and easy. Precise, slow movements will give you the best results. Allow your body and your muscles to absorb all of that health building oxygen. The more nurtured your body feels the more it will respond by giving you what you want.
