Guest guest
Hi Sandi, You've made a great choice in CHOP. had his heart surgery there almost 10 years (yikes!) ago. You are in excellent hands. I live not too far outside the city, if you get this before you leave please e-mail me and I'll send you my home phone number. I'd love to have you over for a home cooked meal while you are in town...hospital food gets a big old after a while. I can also give you some information about the city, restaurants near the hospital, etc. Shelby will be in our prayers. Who is doing the surgery? Guest guest
We were just talking (posting) about CHOP. Sorry to hear that Shelby needs another trip through an operating room. But we'll all send best wishes and positive thoughts towards University City Philadelphia. CHOP better do a really good job of taking care of her or I shall be quiet upset with them. Guest guest
Hi , Just got home from the hospital. My son was treated and released. No broken bones; just some muscle soreness and shattered nerves. The front of his truck is a crumpled mess! I know that an angel had to have been with him. His truck is totalled! He said, " Mom, I thought I was going to die. I could only see Cassie and the baby. " He is 19 years old, and has a baby, (a son) due in early November. This was his first truck. He traded his motorcycle and jet ski for it! He is pretty heavily sedated. I was told it would last through the night, until we can get his scripts filled. I brought him home with me for the night. Thanks for your prayers! Donna >From: " ~*GINA*~ " <gina_66@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: Re: Prayer Request >Date: Mon, 20 Sep 2004 20:18:17 -0500 (Eastern Standard Time) > >Oh my goodness! Guest guest
Hi Helen, 's fiancee' rode down with me last night, to the hospital where he was taken to. I amaze myself sometimes. I was all a panic as I threw some clothes in a bag, and grabbed my medicine. My soon to be daughter-in-law looked at me, and she said, " Mom you are scaring me to ride down there with you. " I told her that it would be okay, that once we were in the car I would calm right down because I would be concentrating on my driving, and true enough, I did just fine. The news that came this morning leaves me a bit concerned, however it is good to see him here with us this morning and I am so very thankful for this.
