NOW I'M JUST AGGRAVATED!

I WROTE A LONG POST AND THEN X'ED IT!

God bless ...thinking of you often Rashelle...Nothing easy watching

our loved ones suffer.

I am going to LIST my " THOUGHTS " ....

1. I am not being faithful to my lifelift.

2. the Cpap machine I use nightly is really annoying me and I don't want

to use it anymore.

3. I think I need to JOURNAL my lifelift to keep it daily and to stay

accountable.

4. I've just had the success of two weeks of a new lifestyle diet.

Didn't lose but a pound but I believe I am fighting Candida.

5. MS SYMPTOMS are always with me and I continue to be

" frightened " ... " am I getting worse, will I be unable to do stuff...? "

etc.

6. Oldest granddaughter had her first dance recital Saturday....ai yi

yi...they grow way too fast...she is 4.

7. Grandson got a part in a movie...at 4 months...ain't that a hoot.

8. Husband is trying by the hardest to leave a job of 30 years....it is

time...it can be a retirement but he is a TYPE A personality and it will

be hard for the " decision " to be made. Interviews and such. KIND OF

STRESSFUL!

9. being faithful....I DO READ THIS BOARD EVERY DAY WHEN IT POSTS....I

LOVE HEARING OF EVERYONE'S EXPERIENCES.

10. My GOAL FOR MAY....write down the LL I do daily...write down my food

intake, write down my PHYSICAL manifestations of better OXYGEN...I'll

let you know how this goes. I already have the journal started I just

need to work at it better.

Love to all,

MARY IN LOUISIANA

Hey

Did you get your 1) and 2) from Chinese fortune cookies???? HE HE HE HE

HE HE HE!!

No, really I do appreciate what you said to and do agree

with your suggestion to her!! I think that she SHOULD post her success

with Life Lift to the group every day like Liz does, or, used to do,

anyway, instead of posting it to a journal!! Then, we would have the

pleasure of supporting her ourselves!!! After all, that IS what a

support group is for, isn't it? Support?

Love always,

Pat

Bless your heart, .

First of all thank you for your prayers and beautiful thoughts about . I

appreciate it. She is doing a little better each day so for that I am so

grateful. You are right, it can be very consuming but I am so grateful that I

can be here to help her and to make sure these little ones are cared for in the

most loving way. The joy they reward me with is boundless.

I love you list. It can be a trememdous help to open up to your own thoughts to

allow the flow for change and healing.

One thing I hope is that you will never be hard on yourself for missing a

breathing session or for anything else. Just take a step forward and begin

again. You have an amazing kind of courage. I have seen it time and time again

and you always inspire me. Being frightened is a normal thing for all of us at

one time or another. It is ok, just gather up your faith and know that you have

an army of us behind you here pulling for you and lifting you up. You are never

alone in this.

One thing I will share with you that has helped to deal with the pain and

frustration of illness is that she tries to reach for the smallest ray of light

in every situation and she tries to plant it like a seed.

She wanted a dog so we did a trial with a sweet dog that belonged to her friend.

We realized very soon that her little boy had terrible allergies to the dog so

we had to rethink that kind of dog, but what she realized was that she was able

to go out and run  the dog and she had tons of nurturing inside her for the dog

so she is now channeling that into planting a garden until we can find the right

dog for our  whole family and the added benefit will be all this fresh, yummy

food to eat.

I do think writing down not only your accomplishments but your new desires and

goals will be so helpful. Also write down your gratitude each day for every tiny

thing that brings you pleasure, joy and a feeling of success.

Awhile back I stopped writing to the group as often because I am usually in a

such hurry and I realized I did not have time to re-check my spelling and silly

stuff like that. What I decided was that as I love all of you, unconditionally I

feel certain you are all as kind and forgiving of me so I decided to just write

what I am feeling or thinking that may help you and just let go of feeling it

has to be perfect. The point is for us all to share what we can offer each

other. That is the real support in our support group.

Hooray for your grandson and for your little granddaughter too but most of all

hooray for you.

I will pray for your husband. Making changes can be very difficult, but we will

keep the faith that he will find peace in his heart about it all.

My little ones are calling so I need to run...but know that I am always here

pulling for you.

Love,

Rashelle

Hi

Yeah, they certainly do sound like fortunes from Chinese fortune cookies!!

Who is Card? I have never heard of him, although maybe I SHOULD

know who he is, but then, not everyone knows everything, right?

I don't get the last comment you made below, my friend!! What did you

mean when you said that you had to get a move on here and " get off the

set back that has lasted a few years " ? I read that phrase a few times

and can't figure it out!! Did you perhaps not express yourself the way

you meant to, or what?

I hope that you are having a great night, Chris!!

Love always,

Pat

Hi Pat,

I'm sorry thatI don't know how to erase all the previous messages with the iPod.

Anyway, Card is a seeker and used to be a contemporary Christian singer.

I actually had the pleasure to be at one of his retreats a few years ago in

Arkansas.

My comment was just silliness. I meant it's time to get serious about LL and

more healthy eating. We don't eat too bad but Joe has been having some trouble

with acid reflux so I will try to cook to accommodate that. Poor guy everything

he likes is bad. I'm concerned about him but the dr. seems to be sure it's

reflux and told him to start taking 4 Pepcid a day.

Do any of you have Kindles? I bought the 79. one today. Joe found it for

regular price but with a 30. Gift card. Now I'll have a lot of electronic

learning to do. Spent about an hour tonight downloading free books. Amazing,

it can download a whole book in less than a minute.
