OT: microscopic images from my collection

These are all things I removed from my skin or observed on my socks (at bite sites). Some of them are probably skin or just plain dirt. I am not trained to identify microorganisms. Even after observing well over a hundred thousand microscopic images, I am still a lay person untrained to distinguish one thing from another. Still, I have made this association: when I feel a bite and remove whatever I find that happens to be located on my skin or sock at that same location, voila, the pain stops. ly, I don't care if it is in my head or not. The cessation of pain is too sweet to question why it happened, except that of course I wanted to learn how to eliminate the pain the next time, and the next, so since removal of a bit of dirt or lint helped once, I hoped it would help again. When it did, I continued. This may be a psychosis,

but if so, it has worked for me. Still, I am wondering if any of you who do have training in microbiology might recognize anything here as an actual organism? Also, please scroll through images Untitled-56.jpg to Untitled-66.jpg and tell me if you see something interesting. Note that the item photographed was surrounded by plastic and cut off from any air movement in the room. Kajay

Kayjay, first of all you are not crazy!!! Not in any way. These types of

things may tend to make us crazy...LOL, but I don't think any of us have gotten

all the way there. I will post some of my images which are eerily similar to

what you have posted. This is not a coincidence. I too am not a

microbiologist, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...so I am

convinced that we are dealing with something here.

My heartfelt congrats to you for braving the naysayers out there and pushing

forward with your own agenda, which is too get well and if you collect samples

along the way, well then so much the better.

I for one am hoping we can use your pictures. Will it be alright if I do that.

I will keep the author anonymous.

As for the last set of pictures, it would appear to me that this filament is

moving, sometimes up and down and sometimes side to side. Very interesting.

Was this set up on time lapse? If so, how far apart were the shots.

I am hoping you will soon be better. You are taking abx now right? I can't

always remember who is doing what...heck, I can't remember yesterday.

You hang in there. I believe you. The first to forge ahead are often not

believed. Remember common knowledge used to be that the world was flat.
