But does anyone know how you them? is it safe to be in the room while they are burning? We just found out about it and started using it on our latest flare-up (caused by re-infesting ourselves) and it made a very noticible difference within hours of starting it. You just put the crystals (a concentrated derivitive of peppermint) on a diffuser (a small heater), or on a piece of paper on a cup warmer (like the kind used to keep a coffee mug warm), and let them melt and then evaporate into the air. The resulting odor will give you the clearest sinuses you ve ever had and hopefully dehydrate the insects. It smell like Vicks VaporRub (which incidentally, is said to be a good personal deterent to help you sleep).You can get a pound of crystals for about $30, and the site also sells diffusers (though their model doesn t put out nearly as much vapor as our cup warmer does, I d get a couple of these so you can do multiple rooms at once). This is the product you are most likely to skip because it seems unfamiliar and odd. Don t. They are very strong, I left them for an hour or so and you can't go in the car while doing it. You can be in the house if you're not doing it too much. I dont know exactly what helped me get here but i will tell you i did burn peppermint candles. I always felt things around my nose and it took me awhile but i started everynight putting vicks under my nose and the nose itchys went away. I also did antibiotics and meds for parasites... I believe only at the beginning is it a mite problem. It then turns into into something systemic .. I wish the best for everyone! Keep the faith that things will mellow out. Besides that i developed cancer and wonder if its not why i became what i call toxic.. Went through many mris after that as well as radiation treatment. maybe that helped i dont know... But i live life on the edge of my seat, but its all been great for many many months... Its in your body... you need to treat as such...
