The black dots were identified as a fungus called Mortierella by Dr. Amin, a parasitologist. Those with Lyme get it because their immune system is compromised, it will resolve with Lyme treatment and some need strong antifungals.AandrayaOn Jul 16, 2012, at 11:15 AM, Goldstein@... wrote: Sending off today... one wrapped in birthday paper. :)From: "ILIKE TREES" <wherearetheangels@...>bird mites Sent: Monday, July 16, 2012 12:43:55 AMSubject: Re: black dots people say are fungusHiIts been a year now and as u know I moved bringing virtual nothing n yet still have bites crawlies mostly on feetThe,thing that concernsme is the black dots coming from under the skinDo u have them terry? As people, say that are a fungusStil concerned they hatching mitesBut say they are a fungusDid peoples, bavk dots go when they used a apropriate anti fungal?Vet wont use anti fungal whem thouth lab sugested fungal n protozoa It a matter of life n deathBut no one elses animals on this forum.have died of mites or fungus issuesAlready told vet re birdmites in old, homeTold dont know, what got on feetBut he isnt interestedNever thought in a million years my darling dog could be at deaths door posibly cause o thisBut I stil dont knowNo colony of fungus seen during xray or ultrAsoundAnd people here had black dots at the beginning Ive had them.al alongBitch beem if it mites theyd be all over the placeSo is it fungus and guess external washes n.fungal creams only help a whileN internal methods need b agresiveI took ten diflucan Guess not enough v kindly sending icatronazoleWhat were peoples experiences after taking it?I wish theyd give my dog a anti fungalTry it at leastBut it al steroid abxs:-/N fever no go awayN.if blood cells continue ceilingsWell my baba will be lost:-/------------------------------On Sun, Jul 15, 2012 22:22 PDT Aandraya Da Silva wrote:>Matt->>You need to get the Igenix western blot for a valid Lyme test, make sure to get am experienced LLMD.
