Scared of being back in hospital

Laurie Lynn - How great that you found this site so soon! You must have known

you were getting an ICD.

You said you were worried about getting multiple shocks and ending up back in

the hospital. As a reassurance, I've had my ICD 2-1/2 years and was shocked 7

times in the first three months, including four times in four days. I have

never

been put back in the hospital because of being zapped; when I got zapped four

times in four days, my EP just upped my medication. I then went almost two

years before being zapped (hooray!).
