Dear Dr. Terry,

Dan gives a seminar " Posture and Neurology " (or something like

that) where he covers 12 hours of the topic you are interested in.

The Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research Vol. 1, No. 4 (1997) has

a very well documented study covering over 2,800 persons under care and

a number of chiropractic offices (156). Authored by H. I.

Blanks, Ph.D., Tonya L. Schuster, Ph.D. Marnie Dobson, B.A. It measured

health using a unique health survey instrument developed to evaluate health

as defined as, ". . . a state of complete physical, mental, and social

well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity."

You can find an abstract at JVSR.com.

Listers,

What are your best one or two sources

for reputable citations regarding chiropractic and non-pain related health

benefits? I am particularly

interested in respectable evidence, not conjecture, for the connection

between adjustments and increased energy, immune function, athletic performance,

vitality, decreased sick days, increased intelligence quota scores, improved

function of bodily systems, improved sense of well-being (happiness), decreased

criminal recidivism,......well, you get the picture. It

seems to me that Homewood is a good source for this kind of stuff.

I also remember that B.J. did a mountain

of research around the effects of the adjustment on various physiological

parameters. Was this compiled and published? Terry
