Guest guest
The 'totally standard' report that only shows exceeded, met, or fails standards probably won't last very long for our kids. It means that they are being fully included in the school's committment to testing to show that 'no child is left behind'. Of course this approach simply identifies which kids are being left behind. The school will get trouble for having students who get all fails .. and before long, they will be back to taking our kids out of the generic pool and give them report cards which reflect how they do with relation to their IEP and not to some arbitrary standard declared at the state or national level. That will raise the schools measured success and give our kids meaningful grades. Rick
Guest guest
I don't enjoy getting the report card home. Ricky tries so hard, but he doesn't always do as well as he wants. He gets upset thinking he will have F's on his report card. He gets some on his homework. I am not sure what to expect this year as this is his first year of middle school.
