It is non fragranced and even I can use it - tis the first thing I have been able to use in two years. There is more info on it at http://www.elderwyn.com/medicallinks Love A. It was not the hand soap that was the problem, it was the detergent that did the skin contact thing and transdermally seeped into my blood stream immediately, like Nitro paste does for people with angina (chest pain). It is official now, I am anaphylactically allergic to ragweed & /or pollen. I spent 6 hours in the ER this afternoon... big allergic reaction, and severe enough that if I had NOT been a paramedic, I would be in the hospital now. If this continues tomorrow, then I will probably have to be admitted.... I was able to come home with my IV still in place, and with meds to inject again at midnight. Isn't life fun? Love Always, Anne

I was stupid and used Clorox 2 (non chlorine bleach to get the nasty discoloring out of my comforter. the nasty stuff went away, but I set my allergies off something wicked in a matter of seconds..... I very rarely use it, just when there is no other real choice. I usually wear my EMS gloves so that I can prevent this... but my allergies were already so severely set off that I wasn't thinking straight.... Shit I wasn't thinking period! LOL I may have found something or I should say someone therapeutic... don't want to say anymore, since I still have this big hex on my head, and the little black cloud that has been following me around constantly. So just keep your fingers crossed for me.... Love Always, Anne

Guest guest
, I'm so sorry that you are going through this. What kind of alternative would they give your son if they do kick him out? I think it's outrageous that they would even say this to you. I actually know of another mom that is in a very similar situation as you. Anyone out there know how to deal with a school district like this? Sorry I couldn't be of more help, . Guest guest
I just wanted to pipe in my two cents to this situation. My son was 7 almost 8 when he was suspended, kicked out, of his school in May. (He was violent to the principal and the adjustment counselor, along with the heating system in the principal's office.LOL) If the school kicks them out of school, the school district MUST find alternative schooling for the child. Usually, it would be a more restricted program. In my case, the school HAD to provide a home tutor for the summer time, because my son's IEP called for summer school. We had a meeting to discuss alternative placement. The school had their own agenda which was to send my son to a collaborative program that they use for other students. I disagreed with their decision and went to mediation to find an agreeable solution. Months later, another collaborative program was found that was neurologically based and we both agreed it was a good choice. The entire time we were looking for a school, the town was responsible for providing a home tutor. My opinion for your son being in a group speech is that either the town is trying to save money, or there are so many kids needing speech services, that they must group them. (I used to work in preschool and have seen that before.) It can be stated in his IEP that individual speech is necessary due to distractions and inattention in a group setting. From my experience, when push comes to shove, the school district will usually give in because they don't want to get into a long, drawn out disagreement. Just my two cents... -mom to Damin 9 PDD-NOS, GAD, probable FG Syndrome > Mache, everyday was like this for us too except for the past couple > months and I thought it was getting better...He hadnt beat up his > teachers, only his speech therapists..but the last 2-3 weeks he has > went back to being his old mean little self LOL... Guest guest
, There are only 4 children in his class... I dont think they are working enough with the children that have some speech and are focusing on the ones that need it more (nonverbal) ... I dont blame them but if a child needs help they need help... I dont want my son there anyway... and if they arent working with him whats the point? They claimed all he needed was speech therapy... He is autistic for goodness sakes... he does need social skills and does behave better for others, so I dont know if it will help any if I keep him home.... I am tempted to do home daycare... but with all our doctors appts etc.... that would be real hard... > > Mache, everyday was like this for us too except for the past couple > > months and I thought it was getting better...He hadnt beat up his > > teachers, only his speech therapists..but the last 2-3 weeks he has > > went back to being his old mean little self LOL...
