I am real sorry to hear about your stroke. If you feel like talking

about it more, please stay online. I think it is already an

accomplishment for you to be back online so soon. I have known a

few folks that have sufferred from strokes of different degrees.

Time seems to be the biggest healer for most stroke victims. Did

you have any pre-warnings????

Speech is improving, though slow. Strangly typing is diffulate as is

hard to move a mouse, and I can't remember to spell some words.

I am so sorry to hear about your stroke and hope you are recovering well. Do they think this is related to your TOF or something different? You seem to have a very positive attitude about it. My thoughts and prayers will be with you ... I'm glad you are able to type again ....

Best wishes for a quick and full recovery!

PS -- I'm headed for surgery on Monday (they moved it up), so hopefully I can tell you good news about more energy from a new pulmonary valve. :)

recovering from a mild stroke

Fellow ZapFriends,

I've been to laying low with recenlty due to a minor stroke which I suffered on April 27.

My recovery has been good, but my right side still feels numb. Speech is improving, though slow. Strangly typing is diffulate as is hard to move a mouse, and I can't remember to spell some words.

Still, I'm getting there.

Tumelty,

Northern Ireland.
