My engagement ring &

wedding band total came to $1200, I think. And my boyfriend / fiancé

paid for it by check. The ring I had actually picked out was a smaller

diamond, that cost about 1/2 the one that bought. He still has

my wedding band in his family's safe.... I am hoping that some day he will

wake up again, and want to get married.

We had gone shopping

at a local mall, and you know how you go into jewelry stores and try on

rings "for some day" that is what we had done. It was just one of

those fun things to do.... only the next day he went back and ordered the

rings.... then showed the ring off to all my friends when we went to get

it. He sent me into a store that I wanted to look at a pair of jeans

at, and he went to get the ring.... then showed to my best friend that

worked in the store across from Goodman Jeweler's. They all saw the

ring before I did, or before I knew what was going on.

When I am bummed out,

I often put it on and wear it. Or if I am going out somewhere...

(doesn't happen often) that I want to wear jewelry for... I can normally

wear it on either ring finger, except right now with PMS, it only fits

on my left hand. It is on now, but it has been on since BEFORE I

found out that Jim and bought one for .
