Guest guest
Dear Forum, The Prime Minister's Speech On Independence Day Bring Hope to People Living with HIV/AIDS. Describing AIDS as a major national issue, the Prime Minister in the Independent day speech said, the country needed to tackle it on a war footing, while calling for a mass movement to ensure that the growth of the disease was arrested and medicines were available at reasonable prices. Finding a mention about the need to make medicine available at reasonable prices in Prime Ministers speech on 59th Independents day from the ramparts of the Red Fort definitely make us feel that our nation care for the independence of People Living with HIV/AIDS too. We are grateful to all key players, including NACO and the Director General Dr. Quraishi, who took relentless effort to make HIV/AIDS noticed by the country to this extent. Obviously it is a matter of encouragement and instills immense hope for the People Living with HIV/AIDS in India. We are encouraged to hope for better realization of our felt needs. K. K.
