Guest guest
i think they would look at these incidents separately. i rec'd workmans comp pay while off work, plus a settlement. it took about 8 mos before the surgeries. the dr they sent me to is now my rheumatologist. she really seemed to be the only one that wanted to help me. by then it was time for me to have surgery anyway. the company was trying to prove it was rheumatism related, (now the dr says my carpal tunnel was related to ra. but why did 5 other co-workers all have carpal tunnel at the same time. i was the 2nd to have it on both sides. the other guy quit. another girl had carpal tunnel before. she was having tennis elbow. (which i have now?!?) she is still getting therapy for that. (she's not into being put under anesthesia. when she had carpal tunnel surgery, she was awake!!) we were looking up info on one compuer and entering into another. 2 keyboards, 2 monitors and mother boards. after this they bought bigger monitors and split the screen so only one computer. good luck on your case. i know how frustrating they can be. when i went for my settlement, the judge actually awarded me more $. (i didn't have an atty for this) so she got me top dollar!!! of coarse after missing 4 years at 1/2 pay, i have nothing to show for it. but i'm sure some drug companies are richer. kathy in il
