Hi all,

Don't mean to keep kicking a dead horse but there is an article in the

Oregonian today section D page 1 " Eleventh-hour add to security bill limits

suits over Vaccines " All those pending autism suits in Portland just got

flushed they will only be able to go to the Fed board max settlement

$250,000 they were seeking over a billion dollars in a class action suit

with oever a 100 families involved they can only sue if the board turns down

their request.

Eli Lilly & Co. came out smelling like a rose on this issue, they donated

millions to the election campaigns and someone unknown Rep. in the House at

the last minute tacted on this to the homeland security bill. They have

been trying to find out who did it but the name of the Rep. is

unavailable--now isn't that odd. I would think he would proud to stand up

and be counted for helping with the Homeland Security Bill.

The article goes on to list 2-3 people ( a former senior V.P. as director of

the OMB and the current (not former) Chairman, President and CEO to the

Homeland Security Advisory Counsel) form Eli Lilly who are now in very

prominent positions in the Bush admin.. Makes us wonder if the ACA/ICA

could come up with 15-20 million to give to the next national election where

some of the DC's might end up in the administration say head of the FDA or

Medicare--Oh well one can dream can't they.

Take care

Steve Kinne
