Guwahati, Assam: Another Neglegency by Medical Proffessionals

Dear Friends,

Due to the neglegencies by the medical professionals we have lost one of our HIV

Positive friend today.

A ldy from Guwahati who was suffering from severe fever and was undergoing the

treatment of a doctos of Guwahati Medical College (GMC).

But even after she did not respond to the treatment well and her family membere

awanted to transfer her to other state, but the doctors from GMC did not

permits. Finally when the situation was out of control they allowed them to

transfer her to Chennai. Last week they went to Chennai with the positive girl.

But the sad news is that she is no more. She has expired today and due to the

neglegencies of the medical professionals of Guwahati it happend.

It also indicates that till date there are no doctor in Guwahati who can treat

HIV positive peoples and thats shows the picture that How safe the PLWHAs in

Assam.

I feel very sorry for that girl and request support from all of you to fight

against these kind of irresponsible doctors.

This is very tragic that people dies without proper treatment.

I hope you all understand the depth of the issue and will joint hand with us.
