Guest guest
Hi Aisha, Thanks for the welcome. It is much appreciated. The only family support that I get is from my mother. The rest of my family could care less about my problems, and they have always continued to think that it's something that I am making up even though one uncle is familiar with endometriosis and female problems in general. A sitz bath is sometimes done when a lady has had an episiotomy after she gives birth to a baby, and they can also be done when someone has hemorrhoids. In this case they are done to try to control the symptoms of vulvar pain. They can be done in a bath tub or in my case a special pan that fits on the toilet. It's a special type of bath to help in the healing process by using heat and sometimes cold depending on the condition and getting the water in to these areas that are difficult to treat otherwise. I hope that this is of some help but I will be glad to share more information about sitz baths to anyone who needs to know more. Once again thanks for the welcome. Guest guest
Hi Kristy! "The rest of my family could care less about my problems, and they have always continued to think that it's something that I am making up" We were just talking about that last week!! It seems to be a common problem. Sorry about your stupid family. We will have to add them to the slapping list!! "A sitz bath is sometimes done when a lady has had an episiotomy after she gives birth to a baby, and they can also be done when someone has hemorrhoids. In this case they are done to try to control the symptoms of vulvar pain." Ooooooh soothing ... I want one... Does it help alot? Are you in constant pain? Have you tried a new drug called cyklokapron? (Tranisamic acid) - dont think the spelling is right there! Anyhow its for endometriosis. Has anything helped your pain? Hope today is a better day for you!! Love Aisha
Guest guest
Hi Aisha, Sat was good in some aspects and bad in others especially toward the end of the day. It also hasn't helped that I had an anxiety attack in addition to the already annoying physical conditions. The reason that the anxiety attack occurred is b/c I started thinking about what could and might go wrong if I ever needed to have IV antibiotic therapy for these infections and have it done at home. I'm trying to do my best not to worry too much about it all since I'm hoping that this infection will be irradicated by the antibiotic that I'm on: Ceftin. If not then it will have to be the antibiotics but I'm afraid that as far as on a local level it will have to be my dr to help calm me down b/c sometimes she's the only one who knows what to say to calm me down when I'm upset about something. (I will tell the story some time as to what I'm talking about) I don't always talk about my anxiety disorder b/c it doesn't always bother me and cause me to have attacks unless it's something that I think is real big even though it might not be to someone else. I call myself the walking mess b/c of all my problems. But then anyone with any health problem feels the same way.
