The claim is that the diet led to a 65% reduction in overall death rates in - recent studies. I find this astounding number hard to believe. But who knows for sure? It all depends on which study you want to believe. --Having followed the relevant traffic on these ON topics for the last year-plus, I'm convinced that at the level of the magazine article, you can write a publishable article that holds any position whatsoever, and when "recent studies" is as good as the referencing gets, rarely are the articles worthy of serious contemplating by us'n's who take this stuff seriously enough to really change what we eat and how we lead our lives in accordance with what we believe the wisest guidance is. --Sorry about the long sentence.
