Guest guest Posted March 31, 2005 Report Share Posted March 31, 2005 Govt offers umbrella to kids against AIDS TIMES NEWS NETWORK[ WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 2005 11:27:57 PM ] PUNE: The increasing number of HIV/AIDS-infected young population in the country can finally hope to be better looked after, following the declaration of the 'Delhi commitment' by major stake holders, including the Union government and Unicef. Acknowledging the enormous impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic on children, the Centre on Wednesday mooted a national alliance and a plan for children and families, which will establish a comprehensive framework to develop programmes and interventions for children made vulnerable by the killer virus.
