Stevia is super easy to grow, and to store-you can dehydrate the leaves just by leaving them on a paper towel with a bit of air circulating around them, or by dehydrating briefly in a food dehydrator. Be careful with stevia plants if you put them directly in the garden though-they can take over in a hurry! Best done in a container garden. You can pop the dried leaves in the VM and buzz them into fine powder-store in a mason jar.

Great information...thank YOU....before I read this, I planted it in a pot thinking he might be like the mint family ~ glad I did after reading your advice.

I don't have a dehydrator so that is not an option for me.

So commercially when you purchase Stevia, it is white and while I would process my dry leaves, it would be a green mixture, correct?

Again, trial and error on how much you would use and that might depend on the recipe and the ingredients.....

Got one more question ~ if this is evasive like mint, they I could probably take a clipping, store in water to root and get a second plant for my sister or just break off a piece with a root attached and plant it, right?
