The Stanford University student Na'amah Razon (nrazon@... ) and his collegue, Maple Glen, Pa's cultural and social anthropology study; " Vettai Noi: Making AIDS Indian A Study of the Use of Siddha Medicine on AIDS/HIV Patients in Tamil Nadu, India " ; under the supervision of Narquis Barak, cultural and social anthropology, and Barrett, anthropological sciences bagged the M. Golden Medal for Excellence in the Humanities and Creative Arts. The Firestone award recognizes students undertaking honors projects in the social, physical and natural sciences and engineering nominated by their academic programs or departments. The Golden award distinguishes students completing honors projects in the humanities or creative projects in the fine arts.
