So it appears they took three observations: average lifespan and caloric intake of all japanese; similar averages of sumo wrestlers; and for okinawans, and think this permits them to draw conclusions from these three observations as to what will happen to all humans? Surely, these people could not be members of the science faculty? Perhaps the philosophy department?
