Guest guest
Dear Forum members, I agree with Dr Gopal that sharing the right information is a strong weapon in the fight against this global pandemic, which is claiming lives in every country. But a word of caution may not be out of place. Though I'm not a doctor, common sense says that just book/internet knowledge on HIV/AIDS medicine may be incomplete, even harmful, if not matched with the clinical/pathological characteristics of each patient. Also, would the medicine in the book be relevant for tackling the Type C virus, which is most common in India? What about drug resistance and second-line medicine? Haven't gone thru the contents but I hope the book deals with these aspects. Anyway, a good move by the moderator for posting the message. Thanks Amit Ukil E-mail: amitrajit@...
