Guest guest
Tonite it was so perfect here in the rainy city of Portland, Oregon, that I decided to ride my bike up Mt. Tabor, which is only a mile or so from me: http://www.parks.ci.portland.or.us/Parks/MtTabor.htm There is a good view of the city up top, lots of hot cycists, and cute guys walking their dogs. The ride for me takes a little under an hour, so that was most of my cardio. However, I didn't want to neglect my rotation, so I popped Zumba (Beginners) into my VCR. I got both tapes brand new with " Zumba bands " for under $5 at GI Joes so I figured it was a pretty good investment. After 20 minutes I could tell this one was too easy for me, but I think my friend Kaitlyn might like it so I'll send it to her. I can still say that: The outfits of the people are HOT! Like Crunch videos, they have an attractive and hip gang, with a live drummer. The main instructor doesn't speak much english, so there isn't much cueing as a result. However, in this video it really isn't necessary. He does enough facial and hand gestures that if you keep your eyes on him you'll follow just fine. It wasn't intimidating at all, so this is a great video for newer exercises or heavier people. I really like the authentic latin flair, and look forward to trying the advanced version later this week (I'll do it instead of Work It Off -cardio dance).
