Guest guest
Hi All, From the message described below, “The mice given vitamin E supplements in the study lived an average of 85 weeks without any negative side effects being observed. The maximal lifespan increased 17 per cent to 136 weeks.” A normal, healthy, non-genetically-modified mouse should on average live ~900 days, and ~1200 maximum days. This is ~130 weeks average and ~170 weeks. Therefore, the results maybe are not significant. J Physiol Regul Integr Comp Physiol. 2005 Jul 14; [Epub ahead of print] Vitamin E at high doses improves survival, neurological performance and brain mitochondrial function in aging male mice.
