My suggestion is to focus first on eating healthier food... while driving there are plenty of healthy things you can snack on that don't require refrigeration or cooking.. (fruit, nuts, maybe even some jerky). Bottled water or juice instead of soda, etc... Look for small incremental changes you can hold to for the rest of your life.
